Dave Turner sez Hi
Man, it doesn't seem like it's time for another reunion. Oh, well, what
the heck. See you next summer! <cucui2@excite.com>

Looking forward to seeing everyone again.
Gary Plummer <gplumme@uswest.net>

Rick Riddell <Mglass34@aol.com>

Danny Turner <dannyt@theriver.com>

Hail Classholes! Clayton Lee <salines1@msn.com>

Hi..Hope everyone can make it this time. Can't wait to
see all our old friends....OOPS! Did I say "old?"
Sally (Gamble) Lee <salines@yahoo.com>

Anxious to see everyone and catch up on "old" times!
Barbara (Brady) Mahon <pyckles@c2i2.com>

I remember when we thought that the people who were in town for their
30-year reunion were OLD!  (They're not anymore tho, are they?)
Toni (Griffo) Lopez <tgriffo@c2i2.com>

In a show of hands, how many of you still have hair on your head?
All right....same question for the male graduates.
Now that I've offended most of you, I do apologize. For those who are a little

less forgiving, we can meet at the rifle range after class on Friday.
I discovered how to get a Douglas High School graduate off my front porch?
I paid him for the pizza.
Looking forward to the '71 class reunion!

Glenn Gigstad" <gigstad@Ag.Arizona.Edu>

remember...
hope the heat has not destroyed more of your brain than we did
chemically a few years ago while in or out of school. i still have hair it
just may not be on the chrome dome. hope to hear from
and see you all in the summer.
LARRY CORCORAN <bossman_98028@yahoo.com>

TIME FLIES!
Can't believe were finally at the time
in our lives where time flies, hey just like our parents
used to tell us about !! UGH!! Hope to see everyone in June.
Carolyn (Reynolds) Patterson
<mrsp1@hotmail.com>

Really looking forward to next summer -
it will be great to see old friends and classmates!
Cindy (Bickle) Doane "Cindy" <earldoane@compuserve.com>
Hi, Class of '71! Boy, it really is a "long and winding road" but
sooner or later it always leads back home doesn't it? I really enjoyed
reading your messages. Especially Glen's joke about the Douglas High graduate!
Ruben and I are looking forward to seeing you all. 'Till then..
Tessie (Terry Fernandez) Gonzales
TVGONZAL@smtp.guhsd.k12.az.us

I read the Bisbee Observer diligently every week! Eventhough I've been away
for 30 years it seems only yesterday when I see everyone's name on the screen.
I did not graduate with the class of "71" in Bisbee....I left as a sophomore.......but I sure would like
to attend the reunion next summer to see everyone I grew up with since Kindergarten!
Everyone knew me as Pat Aguilar! I am now Pat Rochin and reside in Phoenix
.........please let me know if I can come!!!!!
Would love to hear from anyone who remembers me!
My address is  rochin3@qwest.net  Despite the fact I am now a grandmother, I don't feel old
.......so whoever mentioned "old".....cut it out!!!! :-)

Hi Classmates! Looking forward to the reunion. Do any of you live in Bisbee?
Liz (Hill) Perkins  <coppergirl1953@msn.com>

I drink too much. I'm undersexed. I worry way too
much about my appearance. I drive too fast.
Hey....just like High School.  Except, the drive too fast stuff.
A.N. NOMOUS <bisbeeboy@yahoo.com>

Hello to everyone,
We have started working on the 30 year reuion and need addresses really bad. We want this to even be better
than the 20 year and that one was GREAT! Please get the word out and get the addresses in.
I want to thank Sally Lee for doing the Web page, she is doing a great job and also to Rodney Smith
for putting the word out on his Web pages. If anyone has any questions please
feel free to give me a call at 520-432-3022. WE NEED ALL YOUR HELP. Can't wait to see you all.
Sallie Pilcher <spilcher@theriver.com>

It seems that there are standard questions one answers when attending a
reunion of any sort. Things like "What are you doing now?" and "How many
grandkids do you have?" (ouch). In the spirit of fun, might I suggest afew others:
1. What does getting older mean to you? (not that we are)
2. What did you do for midlife crisis? (I suppose this one may be a little too personal for some)
3. Words of wisdom.
4. Things you've changed your mind about.
5. Confessions (only for the very brave)
6. Things you never thought you'd do
Of course, answering these questions would be entirely voluntary. Maybe
someone else can come up with others.
Dave Turner  < sanvicente@zianet.com>

OK Dave....How about embarrassing moments.....like last week
in the Wal Mart parking lot when, having reunion business on my mind,

I said to a blond guy getting into the truck parked next to me, "David?" He said, "No."
I then said, "Danny?" He said "No." .......My kids then laughed at me
and he drove off probably thinking....."Dumb broad."
Sally (Gamble) Lee <salines@yahoo.com>

Oh, Sally. I'm not sure you would recognize me from my "hair" (note the
quotes) any more. If I'd have known in high school this is how it would
be, I'd have fallen on my sword. Fortunately, the years have brought me
a measure of equanimity to compensate for my loss of hair.
Dave Turner < sanvicente@zianet.com>

I didn't graduate from BHS either but went to Lowell school since Kindergarten
with many of you and always enjoy reconnecting at "your" reunions. I mean being
from Bisbee is important and a treasured memory for sure! I live in Tucson now, am a Certified Nurse-Midwife at University Medical Center ( been delivering babies over
20 years now- boy does that make me old?! - lots of my patients are younger than my kids!)
And speaking of my kids Jared now 26 and Chelsea
and Laurel- the twins now 23!- all sane and happy! I am now married
for the 3rd time and very happily so! Congratulations and thanks
for the great web site and to Tessie Gonzales for sharing! Looking
forward to seeing everyone next June!

Gary Plummer gave me your email so I can find out about the class reunion.
I may want to go but need more information. By the way, this is Margaret Gregory emailing you.

rjmefredrich@att.net

Hi everyone,    This is Libby (Heidrick) and John Aira.
Yes, believe it or not we are still married and living in Sierra Vista.
We are excited to see all our old, well not too old friends. Life has been good to us. See you all soon.

aira@c2i2.com

Hi everyone it has been great to read all your messages and see all those familiar names.
I am excited to see everyone in June.  Yes, I agree with whoever said we thought those coming
to town for their 30 yr. reunion were old,  boy were we wrong to think that.
I still feel 17 just don't look it.  Ha!!!  I won't feel so bad with my white hair since
I have read so many don't have hair at all.  Until then this is Darlene Lasater Howell,
hgpdesigneraz@yahoo.com if anyone wants to email
I would love to hear from you.  Thanks for a great site!!!!!

Looking forward to seeing everyone in June.
Ed Zepeda <ezepeda@uswest.com>

Hi Classmates!  Thirty years doesn't seem possible - what happened to all those years?   Sorry I missed
the 20th as it sounds like it was a great time.  We need lots more addresses to make this one as successful.
I am looking forward to seeing everyone in June 2001.
Karen Brooks <
kbrooks@theriver.com>

Hello!
I was just going through your site on the 30th reunion and it
made me so homesick for Bisbee. I didn't graduate in 71 but I was in the
class of 72 although when my class mates were walkin get their diplomas I was off the coast of Viet Nam at the ripe ol age of 17. My name is Rueben Nunez and I just want to wish you all the best and good luck on the reunion. God Bless,
Rueben Nunez
By the way....that picture of the Vista Park sure brought back
some memories..(as foggy as there were *S*)
<strummer@olynet.com>

Congratulations on a nice website and announcement.

HAPPY NEW MILLENIUM!
Happy New Year to all and may we all be blessed with happiness, health and prosperity
in the new millennium.  Hope you all had a joyous last Christmas of the 20th Century.
Karen Brooks

Hello Classmates
Since I didn't attend either the 10th nor the 20th, I'm really looking forward to attending our 30th.
Hope everyone enjoys themselves and keep it safe.
Mary Herrera

My e-mail address has changed in case anyone wants to drop me a line!
This is Pat Aguilar Rochin.
I am now at lovey49@yahoo.com.
It's great reading everyone's e-mail messages. I live in Phoenix in
case there is someone living here also!!!! I am looking forward to June 2001! Thanks!

Hi all!  Yes I'm still at BHS. I'm retired from the Meat business, and now work with
special ed students.  You wouldn't believe the number of BHS grads that work here.
In 2nd. wing alone there are 6 staff grads.  nd the guys that run this joint are none
other that Vince Creviston and Fred Giacoletti.  It's very nice to work with old friends
and fellow Pumas. Oh Yeah! The Bisbee Unified School Dist. Superintendent is
Mr. Ron Olander. Maybe I'm making too much of this, but I think it's cool as hell.
Anyway, I'm excited about the reunion. WE ( 71 ) party real well.
I'm at bobkdog@hotmail so feel free to holler my way. Bye Now...Bob Thomas

I discovered this website purely by chance! I had been wondering if
something was being organized and it seems that all the planning and
organization is done. Great, now all I have to do is show up. I have
made it to the 10 and 20 reunions but this one should be great.
See you all in June!!
Daniel Caņez   daniel.canez@odfl.com

Having been living in Scottsdale for the last 20 years,
I bought a house onthe Vista a couple of years ago and will
be fixing it up to live when I've   said "I quit" to this hell hole.
That way, I can continue to get Bill Hicks in trouble just like the old days.
I love reading the messages from my fellow reprobates,
as well as the normal people (you know who you are
and now you can be proud of it). I'll see you in June.
Meanwhile, remember theimmortal words that
Thurmond McWhorter wrote in my 1971 Cuprite: "We
hadsome good times, some bad times, and there's
no such thing as a medium time."
Paul Blunt    <apb@bluntetal.com>

Thanks Dave for sending me this address I am looking forward to seeing everyone this summer.
Brent Barnett         <KVBKEB@vtc.net>

Please count my wife and I in for the reunion plans.
Larry & Sharon Reilly  <reilly@ev1.net>

You heard about Ole and Lena getting married, didn't you? They got married
in Rochester, MN, which is in the southern part of the state. As they were
driving up to Minneapolis for their honeymoon, Ole reached over and put his
hand on Lena's knee. With a coy smile, Lena said, "Ya know, Ole...we're married now.
You can go farther dan dat." So Ole drove to Duluth.
See you in June!
Rick Weaver  <Rtpftguy@aol.com>

Hello classmates! I guess some (Clayton) have reduced us to 'classholes'. Must be an inside joke that I
somehow missed over the years. 30 years, yes I believe it. Especially when I look at all the in betweens.
Yes Tessie, the road has had many bends but most have made the journey exciting.
I, like the rest of you, have really enjoyed reading the message board and look forward to
future messages from still more aquaintances. The jokes seem to get better
as we go along. Ricks 'Ole and Lena' joke blew me away and I don't even
have a sense of humor. I also appreciated Glen's joke... Who would have ever thought
it would be that easy LOL! I am enjoying life in Virginia with my wife (Terri) and
my little guy (Eddie). Eddie is eight years old and keeps me running all the time.
What a Godsend they have been in my life. I work for the Department of Labor
and my job keeps me busy all the time. I travel sea to shining sea often
and sometimes over them. When in town, I really enjoy Washington. Who would have
ever thought you could get here from there...? Carl Hendricks asked me that question the last time
I spoke with him. He works near the Pentagon. I hope life has been good to each of you and that
each day brings many blessings. Although I didn't graduate with y'all,
( I graduated in Texas and recently attended that reunion which was coupled with
the class of '70), I have certainly thought of many of you over the years. Who would
have thought Clayton and Sallee would have evolved from a band as bad
as 'TheElements of Style'? Clayton, I use Strunk and White's little book all the time now!
One thing is certain... I will always remember all of you with a smile!
Kind regards and God Bless you, Eddie Lopez/ edsnterri321@cs.com

A great big hello to all of my fellow 71 classmates.
What a great piece of luck it was to find this web page. Great job Sally.
You can definitely count me in for June.

Jim Irvin JIRVIN@ICWGROUP.com

My husband and I are planning to come to the reunion in June.
I'm looking forward to receiving the information.
Martha (White) Young        SYoung4946@aol.com

30 Years?!   It's hard to believe! I have enjoyed reading everyone's messages.
Joan Phillips, it's been a long time. I am looking forward to
seeing friends that I haven't seen in a long time.
Sally and Clayton, thankyou for this neat website.
Linda (Rojo) Marshall  < lindamarshall53@yahoo.com>

Reading all of these e-mails has made me incredibly homesick. I was so homesick for Bisbee
about 2 weeks ago, I watched a marathon of western movies shot in Arizona. Who would've thought
when we were in high school wewould miss Bisbee? Personally, I never
appreciated the beauty and uniqueness of it until I left.
Sadly, (for me anyway) I won't be joining you for the 30 year,
have fond memories of the 20 year and hate I will miss it. I work for the legislature in Tennessee and
we are expecting an especially long session (no money) and they have asked that we not plan
leave until July or after. I wish each of you well and Sallie and all who are working on this and
the website, it is excellent and I hope to see everyone at the next one.
Do we dare wait ten more years at our age???? Never felt old until
thisyear, everything and I do mean everything has gone south and body parts
arefailing at an alarming rate. Breasts and hair are about all I do have
leftand they're not great.Would love to hear from everyone
e-mail is

Love to all
Dorris (Davis) Barnes

Hello everybody
Looking forward to the reunion.
Racso Sknab lives!!
Vince Fauland <vfauland@earthlink.net>

Amazing, seems like yesterday we were given our diplomas, instead of thirty years ago.
It is going to be a pleasure to see everyone again and take a stroll down memory lane.
After 22 years, I hung my gun belt up and retired from the El Paso P.D.
I'm now working full-time with the Texas Air National Guard.
Everyone take care, see ya in June, and feel free to call or e-mail.     Mark Lindell
MarkALind@aol.com or bisbeekid_69@hotmail.com

Just wanted to let everyone know that the "Golf Tournament" on Friday the 8th
is actually just a fun golf outing. We will be playing a scramble type format
and anyone, YES anyone is invited to play.......men, ladies, friends,
teachers, kids, grandkids, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles,
cousins, illegal aliens, Border Patrol officers, well you get the idea. Even if
you've never played before it's ok. We will be awarding some very "special" prizes
for outstanding and unique achievements (not necessarily pertaining to golf)
that may happen during the afternoon. The cost for this "once in a lifetime
event" is only $25.00 and includes green fees, a cart, and a couple beverages.
Then we can all head over to Bushwackers and tell some lies
about our game. So, sign up now and avoid the rush!
Contact Clayton at: salines1@msn.com
or include entry fee with reunion registration.

Hi everyone --
30 years Wow where does the time go when we have to grow up?
Oh well.... What can I say it has been a awesome, hard,
difficult, challenging, great, sad, tragic 30 years.
I missed the 10 and 20 year reunions but I will not miss the 30 year one.
Count me in and my other half. I look forward to seeing everyone in June.
Gerri Martinez (Jackson)         grjacks@uswest.com

Hello everyone.  I can't believe that its 30 years already.  Where does time fly?  I guess raising a family really keeps you occupied.  I live in Phoenix and have been for about 30 years.  I'm looking forward to seeing everyone in June.  Later   Conrad Chavez    darnoc@uswest.net

It will be good to revisit the cast of characters that combine to make
for so many wonderful memories. Tim Lowry  tlowry1@uswest.net

Hello '71 classmates,  Can you believe it's been 30 years since our graduation!
Just look what  happens  in 30 years?  I know we all are feeling that " getting old feeling " and some
of us probably show it more than others!  I've tried keeping that youthful feeling by staying
active in social activities.  I try and keep in touch with some of you when
I come down to visit my family in Bisbee.  I've been with the Federal Government
since leaving high school, I tried college but I got most of my
training with the government.  I live in Rapid City, South Dakota and I've been
here since '84.  I won't be able to come down but it would be nice to see some of you again.
I do miss some of you and all that we did, see, feel, and mostly shared a good
part of our life together as brothers and sisters.  I hope you all were blessed
with good health and a good life and may you all live a happy life!
Take care, Love you all.  Rafael (Ralph) Herrera  dakotaskys@rushmore.com
 P O Box 293 Box Elder, SD 57719

My wife of 22 years and our two children are moving to Seattle,
Washington at the same time as the class reunion. Sorry we can't attend. I
would like to see everybody. Thanks-
Guy Butler  butlergcycle@aol.com

Hello All!  Sorry I won't be able to attend the reunion.
Would of liked to seen everyone, hope this reunion turns out like
the 20th which was great.  I'm still working for Phelps Dodge,
going on 28yrs., started in 1973 in Bisbee, transferred to Morenci Az.
been there till 1999, transferred to Phelps Dodge Research Facility
in Safford and now reside in Thatcher Az.
Please drop me an e-mail -  tciancimino@hotmail.com   Tony (Anthony) Ciancimino

Hey.. There are so many classmates who haven't registered!
The reunion is only a few weeks away. If you missed
the deadline we want you to come anyway!

I'm just finishing a large landscaping project at my house on the
Vista Park and would like to invite the class over to look around
and enjoy some barbeque as part of the Sunday picnic.
Hope to see everyone there. Paul Blunt

Hello everyone,
I got a call today from Jorge Valenzuela telling
me all about next month.
I'll be there!
Rick Mason
 ric_mason@hotmail.com

Yeah, I'm rounder and grayer, just like everyone else.  But by an amazing
coincidence, the reunion coincides with one of CNN's "schedule you vacation a
year in advance" vacations.  So I'll be there!  Ha!!
Basically, I'm still me.  I'm still married. I'm still Catholic.
 I'm still writing for CNN.
(My life in 4 sentences, none of which is over 5 words long!! Oh well,
there's more to say, and I'm looking forward to saying, listening, etc. etc.etc.)
Joe Von Kanel  vonkanel@aol.com  or bushrodv@aol.com or
joe.von.kanel@turner.com   None of which I intend to check for the next week!
